WOW!  Stunning.  Is the Beaver a good starting aircraft?

Hi Tom,

It's worked out very well for me. I immediately sold teh Caravan and leased the Beaver.

I have even been able to take jobs from land bases because you can put the Beaver down alongside or near the actual runway (I think the limitation is within 3 miles) and still get credit (i.e., the courier will still receive your cargo).

Obviously, this is only possible in places like the Caribbean or the Pacific where no runway is too far from the coast.

If you do use the Beaver, I strongly advise you change one parameter in the plane's cfg file under GeneralEngineData:

fuel_flow_scalar= 0.1

The default setting will have you running out of gas 10 minutes into your flight.Shocked

I also changed the drag scalar for the flaps:

drag_scalar = 1.7

That one's not so critical but it makes the plane handle more realistically.
