trainz 10 and windows 7

   Hi all

I thought i would have a break from flight simulator and have a go at some train driving.
I bought and downloaded Trainz 10, installed it with no problem. The program started just fine and i decided to go headlong into it and selected the routes option and the ECML routre. However all i get on the screen are a few menus and a grid of yellow boxes with some rain falling, and no train.

I have tried all the diferent routes and I get the same yellow grid. 

Can anyone suggest what may be wrong or is there a seting i need to adjust. No doubt it is something simple.

My machine is running windows 7 64 bit with 4GB RAM.
