The North American T-28 began life as a primary trainer, but quickly evolved into a very successfull COIN aircraft. Used in the Vietnam War among others the T-28 proved to be a tough little aircraft. Various versions were built including a large number of the French built Fennecs which had different engines and an alternative weapons fit. Trainers were used all over the world, the earlier aircraft had a 2 bladed propellor but later versions got a 3 bladed one. Some were fitted with arrestor hooks for carrier landings. Many still fly as highly sought after warbirds. As an FS aircraft it is delightfull to fly and is one of my firm favourites. Most of these models are by Alphasim and are FSX freeware.

It's easy to make a small fortune in aviation. You start with a large fortune.
