Hi,

I don't understand the entries for the payloads for both BAC 1-11 300/400 and 500 variants:

BAC 1-11 500:
max_number_of_stations=10
station_load.0= 150.00, 35.00, 0.00, 2.00, Crew (225)
station_load.1= 000.00, 25.30, 0.00, 2.00, 1st Pax (2950)
station_load.2= 000.00,  5.00, 0.00, 2.00, Mid Pax (2950)
station_load.3= 000.00,-15.00, 0.00, 2.00, Aft Pax (2075)
station_load.4= 000.00, 12.00, 0.00,-2.00, F Hold (6970)
station_load.5= 000.00,-11.00, 0.00,-2.00, A Hold (6720)

BAC 1-11 300/400:
max_number_of_stations=10
station_load.0= 150.00, 35.00, 0.00, 2.00, Crew (225)
station_load.1= 000.00, 20.30, 0.00, 2.00, 1st Pax (1200)
station_load.2= 000.00,  5.00, 0.00, 2.00, Mid Pax (1200)
station_load.3= 000.00,-15.00, 0.00, 2.00, Aft Pax (1275)
station_load.4= 000.00, 12.00, 0.00,-2.00, F Hold (3970)
station_load.5= 000.00,-11.00, 0.00,-2.00, A Hold (2720)

Firstly, the values when the aircraft is loaded are zero (0) which would be nice if adjustable via a payload manager (but they're not), but FSX/P3D convention is that payload is usually full for users to then configure prior to departure.

The operating weights in the [General] section of the aircraft.cfg are the same but according to a brief Wiki search shows they should be 300/400 48,722 lb (22,100 kg) and 500 54,582 lb (24,758 kg). there is little difference in the cofg position other than station_load 1.

The (max?) weights listed in the brackets for each "station_load" are very different between the models, and I don't get this.

For instance the max for crew is 225 and each model has 150 loaded (presumably 75kg each for P1 & P2), but then the station_loads are different between the models, so maybe then one is lbs and the other kgs, but this isn't the case and does not explain the P1/P2 values being the same.

Please could you define how the weights are set under the 300/400 and 500 aircraft.cfg's so that we can load accordingly?

I loaded the 500 with about 50% for some base training but the aircraft felt heavier than its weight suggested (but then this might be the same trim issue as posted by other forum members.

Lastly, the spoilers work fine when the keyboard "/" or joystick button are pressed as is the wing animation, but the depressing the spoiler key seems not to animate the VC lever.

Thanks,
Fabio
