Hello,
I know nothing about train sims apart from casually looking at JustTrains, all my experience so far has been with flight sims.
Having traveled across Canada on VIA Rails "The Canadian" from Toronto to Vancouver I should like to recreate it on the PC, if possible.
What would be the best sim that could do this & what, if any, add-ons would I need.

Plenty of train sim here, You'll need to open an account at Steam to buy the core game Train Simulator 2018 and the add the routes and trains you want. There is a sale on atm. Unfortunately you won't get from Toronto to Vancouver but there is some Canadian content there.
