Oddly during my first and only two flights I've found that the airspeed indicator stopped working. The P3d "red text" readout at the top left went to 0.0 when the ASI stopped too.

Has anyone else had any such issues?

I had a similar problem. Started descent, after getting down to about 240 knots the speed needle shot to the top. Power went to 100% and the nose pitched up very steeply. I had something very similar with the 748 too.
