Good afternoon everyone,

I've been using the DC-6 for quite a few months now and have only recently tried to start using the ILS as I am doing a lot of hauling around the world.

I'm only really accustomed to using the ILS on more modern aircraft such as the airbus a320 and CRJ 700. Is it quite a similar principle? On the 700 all you have to do is input the ILS frequency of the runway on the NAV1 in the radio monitor and and adjust the CRS dial.

Do i input the frequency in the NAV 1 slot as I would usually do? And how would I adjust the CRS setting?

Thank you! Big smile

Hi SassyKins, re setting up for your ILS, yes, dial in your ILS runway frequency (Shift+3), then input your heading course (CRS) into the OMI gauge (bottom row of instruments on the pilots panel,2nd from left).
Hover your mouse over the knob below the instrument.

Hope this helps, happy landings!
