I was having trouble with the fmc with DC 8 10-40 SP3 and 50-70 SP1.5 installed together in P3D 3.0, the fmc stopped working along with the controls of EHSI, I suspect that the same problem affects those who have installed the L-1011, instructions to have the operational instruments again: move these files from the Gauges folder: JF_int_sounds folder, DC8.gau, dc8_WRxradar.cab, dc8gauges.cab, JFDC8.gau, JustFlight_DC8_sound.gau, JustFlight_DC8_sound.ini and WT_Effects.cab to a new folder. Do not let any of these files in the folder Gauges Copy the files moved to each Panel folder of the DC 8 10-40 only without exception. Feel free to report this failure too, because I had not found the solution by the time I reported.

please re-explain this procedure in an easer to understand way please please. the fmc in all models with it , do not work, I installed the font, am running windows 10, so font is working. but buttons are not ,they operate when pushed (click) but dont operate the fmc- change screens or type in letters. when explained "Do not let any of these files in the folder Gauges Copy the files moved to each Panel folder of the DC 8 10-40 only without exception." do copied files go in all models DC 8 10-42 and below? I have no models installed that are 10-40, they are DC8-73F, DC8-63CF, DC8-62, DC8-61_Early, DC8-61, DC8-55_JetTrader, DC8-53, DC8-42, DC8-32, DC8-21, DC8-12, DC8-10. I dont understand precisely the instructions. I have both DC-8 software packs installed " just flight DC-8 Jetliner Series 50 to 70 v105, and just flight DC-8 Jetliner Series 10 to 40 v107" , Help please, I just want my beautiful DC8 birds to fly and operate correctly. thank you in advance for any help provided to correct my issue....Steve S ------------- if it aint broke, dont fix it |
