Can anyone tell me if their XP800 "aircraft.cfg" file contains any entries in the [LIGHTS] section?
I would like to improve the night time cockpit lighting but I am puzzled that, although my a/c has things like navigation lights, etc, there are no entries in the config file. Where else are the various lights defined?

Please, could somebody open their XP800 'aircraft.cfg' file and tell me if their file contains any entries in the '[LIGHTS]' section. It is easy to open it in Notepad and scroll down until you find a line -

[LIGHTS]

Are there any lines of text immediately below this line?

Nope, there is nothing but a remmed out line heading //Types etc.

No individual lights are defined in my .cfg either. The lights are probably in the model or .mdl file

Tony,

I could not get the developer, via contact Just Flight, to improve the cockpit lighting which I found to be somewhat lacking. I have however managed to alter my cfg file [Lights] section to include some additional lighting which now means that I can see the instrumentation by day and night. It may not be perfect but it is a lot better than it was as it came from JF. If anyone is interested I could post the changes that I have made.
