Will you be looking to expand the Corporate Jet expansion to the A318?  Would be a good addition, especially for those who want to fly the BA A318 from London City to New YorkWink.

Hi,

It's a possibility, but are there many private A318s?

Thanks
Marty

Hi!

The BA A318s fly with regular fuel tanks, these are no long-range derivations. So they have to make a tankstop in Shannon before leaving for JFK. You could simulate this flight perfectly with the JF A318. The retour flight goes directly because of the jetstream.

Best regards,
Christoph

The BA A318s are Elite Corporate Jet versions, they are due to have an additonal fuel tank fitted which will allow the aircrat to carry an additional 3 tons of fuel.

Also, Comulux and JetAlliance fly the A318 Elites too.

That's absolutely new for me. The standard tank volume would be enough to reach JFK from Shannon.

You're right.  They started the operation with just standard tanks but according to an article I read, they [BA] were looking to add the extra tank in future.  I guess the reason being for future route developments.
