David Cameron: "Excuse me - the power to decide foreign policy that we signed away in Lisbon  - can we have it back please?"

Europe: "NO."

We are basically no longer a soverign state now. We are unable to determine our own affairs, as Lisbon removed them. I'll be posting shortly on which of the more than 50 policy areas we can no longer determine for ourselves.

Best regards,
Vulcan.

Didn't you know the Tories are secretly pro EU? This is why they didn;t comment much before the Czech Replublic signed. NOw they have, they've basically said "oh well" with a smile on their face.

Best regards,
Vulcan.

I actually had a shimmer of hope when i heard on the news that the Czech leader would not sign over for at least six months while he was seriously looking into it. It would at least give us a chance to get a different party in government. Thought it was too good to be true
