I can see why they're charging for the service, but if people used sender whitelists, it is a guaranteed, no-hassle way to ensure a spam-free inbox. I've yet to receive spam purporting to be from anyone in my address book. Best regards, Vulcan. |

Neither have I and I don't use sender whitelists, whatever they are.

A sender whitelist looks to see if the sender is in your address book. If they are -> Inbox, if not -> Junk.
You still need to check the junk for good mail, but once yuo've added that person to the address book, they will always appear in the Inbox. My e-mail server also marks suspect spam messages as SPAM which makes things easier, too, but there are a couple of companies and other people who still list as spam for some reason (bad DNS config usually).
