2 Russian Knights SU-27's have crashed nr Zhukovsky Air Base nr Moscow I'm assuming a single and a two seater as all three ejected, sadly one has died, the wreckage appears to hit houses in the area

Well it was going to happen eventully. To fly in an aerobatics team you need to be a very skilled pilot. The report suggests that pilot error may of caused this tradegy but the report will be intersting when it eventully comes out.

That's stating the obvious!! Autopilots can't do aerobatics. Just unfortunate on all sides. It's quite hard to have a mid-air collision. If you tried, you likely couldn't do it. Best regards, Vulcan. |
