Following the training around Davis-Monthan (see earlier post)our intrepid crew are shipped out to Vietnam, they are sent on a resupply mission .
short high level take off from Tan son nhut

Supply drop on the Ho Chi Minh trail, American troops on the ground get their gear low level, flares dropped to stop AAA

the flight contineus to Hanoi where a tactical landing is made, steep approach, slow speed, max flaps and lots of flares to stop the VC missiles.

Finally parked on the ramp where the aircraft is unloaded and our fresh crew get a break,

hope to do more with this in the future, Smile
The light at the end of the tunnel is a freight train coming the other way !

Love that tactical landing - and all the shots lovely - gonna get my C-130J out I think and have a play!

I havent flown my C-130 in a while and I think im going to do what ross said hes going to do.
