I read in the Sunday Mirror that BAA may have to sell Gatwick and this could mean cheaper flights as the new company could charge airlines less. It could also mean low cost airlines competing on the UK- USA route with Heathrow. Sounds good to me

Fantastic news
It's about time the Big Airport Authority was given a run for it's money and Gatwick stops playing second fiddle to Heathrow. Serves the Spanish owners right - they borrowed lots of money to buy something they could not afford and have made a lousy job of running since they took over bye bye, lets have an airport that wants to be number 1 rather than regarded as second best! 767-300 |
