Once again a science fiction prediction comes true!
Not much good on the front line, one shot and the operator would be dead. Away from the front line it has lots of applications though, from loading artillery shells to digging trenches.
The next step some time in the future is to equip one with AI and there you go, the first robotic soldier.
Lot's of potential uses in the civilian world also. I'm sure they would be loved on a building sites.
