One, if I unclick the other countries when compliling flight plans, will that get rid of international flights going in and out of the US? Reason being, is that I have flights like finnair and lufthansa regional jets going into small airports like midway.

two, I noticed I can compile my flight plans with the old method (TTools). Since Southwest is lacking flights, I downloaded the WoAI southwest package and decompiled it so it gave me the airplane folder, and the three text files that the manual says is needed (airports, flightplans, and aircraft). I thought I was doing this correctly by placing the aircraft individually in the Traffic X Aircraft folder, and then compiling the folder, with the three text documents inside of it, with the TTools compilier, and saved it as the existing TrafficX.bgl. It didn't work, so does anyone have the correct method to do this?

I have done this for several airlines. In the Aircraft_115_WoA_Southwest Airlines_Su07.txt folder you need to replace the WoAI aircraft title (the bit betwen the speech marks) with the relevant TrafficX one. For example the first line would read

AC#1000,200,"JFAI_TX_B7373_SWA"
AC#1001,200,"WoA_AIA_B733v2_Normal_SWA-Southwest Airlines OC"
AC#1002,200,"WoA_AIA_B733v2_LogoLight_SWA-Southwest Airlines Kitty Hawk"
AC#1003,200,"WoA_AIA_B733v2_Normal_SWA-Southwest Airlines Shamu"

Do this for all AC#
Recompile using TTolls and convert the Traffic file to FSX format by using a bgl converter.
You can do this for any airline providing TrafficX has an eqivalent aircraft. You must remember to uncheck the airlines for those you have recompiled this way before compiling TrafficX Flight Plans

Do I have to change the names on the actual aircraft folders as well, or even the aircraft CFG?? Or am I just using the TrafficX aircraft just with the new flight plans...

Ranger:
You can download bglfpfsxconvert.zip from Flightsim www.flightsim.com and a few other places.

Flightbreak777:
No only the aircraft titles in the Aircraft.txt folder. No need to touch the aircraft.cfg.
You are actually using TrafficX aircraft in the WoAI flight plans which are more accurate than those that came with TrafficX

Yeah I came to that conclusion =) Another question though. In Traffic X's aircraft folder, under the 733, I see textures .SWOR and .southwest, however the aircraft.cfg says it should be texture.SWA (as you used in your example). Should the folder name be changed? It seems to me that it's looking for a texture.SWA folder and wouldn't be able to because of the name.

Here is what I got BTW:

AC#1000,200,"JFAI_TX_B7373_SWA"
AC#1001,200,"JFAI_TX_B7373_SWOR"

Ignore the texture name. The fact that you are using the aircraft title i.e. AC#1000,200,"JFAI_TX_B7373_SWA"
will automatically use the associated texture when compiling.

If you now compile using  your aircraft above as the Aircraft_115_WoA_Southwest Airlines_Su07.txt file together with Airports_115_WoA_Southwest Airlines_Su07.txt and FlightPlans_115_WoA_Southwest Airlines_Su07.txt with TTools and convert the resultant Traffic.bgl to FSX format you will then be able to put the converted Traffic.bgl into C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Scenery\World\Scenery folder.

and the trafficX.bgl will still be put into play, all I have to do is make sure I uncheck southwest right?

Yes compile the TrafficX FlightPlans with southwest unchecked. This will overwrite the TrafficX.bgl so you will have both TrafficX.bgl and Traffic_115_WoA_SouthwestAirlines_Su07.bgl in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Scenery\World\Scenery folder.

Well it looks like it worked, but I did compile the flight plans with southwest CHECKED, and added the new ones, and that also worked, I think.....

The only way you will see if your new ones worked is by compiling TrafficX flightplans with southwest unchecked. I have done British Airways, Easyjet, and a few others this way and they all work fine but can you imagine having both sets of BA flights showing at the same time at say Heathrow?
