My newly installed Arrow III, running on FSX Steam, has a nasty left banking problem.
Any fix to this annoying instability?

It's been discussed quite a bit in the forum - some see it quite badly, others hardly at all. The real Arrow does not have aileron trim but it is not disabled from the fde so if you have a button or key assigned to aileron trim you can trim it out.

Cheers,
Paul.

I did just that in setting up aileron trim on my yoke buttons. This FSX Arrow III is the closest thing I can find to the PA28R-Arrow II I fly in real life which does not have or really require aileron trim. Sure would be nice to have an FSX aircraft act the same but if there is no fix to this I can live with the workaround.

Thanks,
Kirk

Make sure your yoke is calibrated and your fuel tanks are balanced.

I left the aileron trim active primarily because the real aircraft has a manually adjustable trim tab which can be adjusted on the ground. In the sim, there is no possibility of replicating that so it has to be through the normal aileron trim assignment.

Switch tanks every half hour and you won't have a wing-heavy situation.
