Repainting PA-28R Issue

   Hi
I am bit lost trying to repaint Hi Definition PA-28R Livery

I am trying to repaint the PA-28R from the Paintkit PSD file, but every time I am running the PSD file thru DTXbmp to transform it into a DDS file, as soon the PSD File is loaded, it show PSD: 4096 x 4096 RGB RLE - (now 2048x2048)

I may be using the wrong program (DTXbmp) to transform it as DDS file.

I am using GIMP 2.8 to edit the PSD File and export it back into PSD file

Any help is welcome
