Hi,
I've been playing around, and just got the Milviz/Rex weather radar working in the BAe-146. Not sure if it's possible to get the entire frame of the unit in the VC. I only have the screen showing at the moment, so you need to use the 2D popup panel for the weather radar to turn it on and change settings, but then the radar is visible in the correct spot in the VC. If you have this radar, then you will know that it comes with a config. and installation tool to add it to any aircraft. When I used this, it automatically added it to the next free window space in the Panel.cfg, which was window 47. There is no way to select this window (that I know of), so I manually edited the Panel.cfg and replaced the 1st window, which is just a window frame with the compass. This way, the weather radar is selectable with Shift+1. I will attach a zip containing the MV/Rex weather radar installed in three panel.cfgs. This will act as an example, so you can just pretty much copy the lines and add them to the correct section in any panel.cfg for the BAe-146. The examples are for the BAe-146-200 (Flybe) which uses the "panel.1110" in the folder "CLS_BAe146_200". https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bxev_0S9k7HPa01QZ2ZBaVU1OGc Cheers, |

https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bxev_0S9k7HPa01QZ2ZBaVU1OGc Just to make it a bit clearer, here are the lines that were altered to install the Milviz/Rex Weather Radar, using the panel_FMC.cfg from the "panel.1110" folder. The "Window" entry was added by using the WX Advantage Radar - Gauge Management Tool. I then moved this "Window" entry from where it was installed, Window47, and replaced the existing Window00 entry. You also need to edit the list under [Window Titles] to reflect this move. // CLS BAE 146-200 BETA // Sept 13, 2012 // Panel.1110 [Window Titles] Window00 = WX Advantage Radar and [Window00] ident = 71 visible = 0 sizeable = 1 size_mm = 419,381 position = 0 window_size = 0.297709923664122,0.482489893332034 window_pos = 0,0.0742292143587746 gauge00 = MV_WX!WX2D,0,0,419,381,2 gauge01 = MV_WX!WX,64,121,291,205,2 For the Virtual cockpit, it needs to be edited manually (you can use the included panel cfgs for any aircraft using the "panel.1110"). Any of the other panel.cfgs can be edited with the same lines for the gauge to appear. There are three entries representing the Weather radar gauge/placeholder in the VC of the BAe-146. Using the details from the BAe-146 manual regarding the installation of other 3rd party gauges, and using the lines contained in the panel.cfg of other aircraft where the Weather Radar is installed, I determined the lines I needed to add: gauge00=WXR!wr_display, 80,32,350,275 gauge01 = MV_WX!WX, 0,0,512,382 I added it to [Vcockpit05], but it could be added to any of these three Vcockpit sections. Each Vcockpit Weather radar section represents a different position the selector switch in the VC needs to be in. [Vcockpit04] file=..\Paneltexture\CLS_BAe_146_200_WXR_BG.bmp size_mm=512 visible=1 pixel_size=512 texture=$M8WXR1 //-------------------------------------------------------- [Vcockpit05] file = ..\Paneltexture\CLS_BAe_146_200_WXR_BG.bmp size_mm = 512 visible = 1 pixel_size = 512 texture = $M8WXR2 gauge00=WXR!wr_display, 80,32,350,275 gauge01 = MV_WX!WX, 0,0,512,382 //-------------------------------------------------------- [Vcockpit06] file=..\Paneltexture\CLS_BAe_146_200_WXR_BG.bmp size_mm=512 visible=1 pixel_size=512 texture=$M8WXR3 Cheers, |
