The description mentions the 3d panel.
Is there also an option to use a 2d panel?

The aircraft does not have a 2D cockpit. If you are a fan of 2D cockpits then unfortunately you'll find that very few aircraft have them nowadays. The aircraft does have a 2D GPS though.
