My impressions on the Piper Seminole as a licence holder:

As with all the  Alabeo piston a/c a lot of attention goes into the exterior and interior of their a/c. and general handling. Nice!
Unfortunately these products should not be launched if the designers do not have the basic knowledge of the engine operations. The realism goes out the back door.
With every new product the same deficiencies exists. The Aztec,Navajo and Seminole same issues:
  • I t o the PA 44 the Carburetor heat does not work. Cannot fly it like that. It is not a Aztec or Navajo with fuel injected engines.
  • RPM does not drop when the pitch leavers are cycled to full course before take off. Cannot fly it like that as the prop cannot be feathered. This is a constant speed prop. For assymetric flight the prop must be feathered
  • Oil pressure does not drop when pitch levers are in full coarse position because prop don't go into full coarse.
  • None of the three a/c have realistic engine sounds and the real a/c's engines do not sound like that at all. Some of the other products have extremely realistic engine sounds.

Sundowner.
