Hi guys

I try to made a repaint for the TB20, but when i save the repaint in DDS (DXT5) the scheme appears black in my fsx.

Can you tell me if this isn't a DXT5 format?

Regards

DXT1 or DXT5 should work fine. Can you send me the DDS? (martyn@justflight.com)

From my own notes regarding a different repaint (my first one):

Quote I used DXTbmp to extract the bitmaps from the files I wanted to modify into a file named norm.bmp, then I used Gimp to edit them.

When exporting them from Gimp as norm.bmp again, I had to select "Do not write color space information" in the "Compatibility Options", and "24 bits: R8 G8 B8" in the "Advanced Options".

After reloading norm.bmp in DXTbmp, I had to disable "Include when saving" in the MipMaps box before saving them.

Maybe you can use some of this information for whatever software you use.
