I have purchased a third party aircraft (C7 Caribou) and have added it to my installation of Air Hauler. Air Hauler reports that the minimum runway length for this A/C is 1080 meters which is 800 meters more then the information I have found at Wikipidia. Is it possible to edit the runway requirement for individual aircraft in AH?

If you can't fly it, sail it or race it...what's the point?

You can but only by editing the MTOW which will then cut down your load.
Runway length us only used for AI, you can still attempt to land on any runway you want. Wiki says the runway length is 280 metres? That can't be right. |

DeHavilland brochure states MTOW ground run of 221 meters and to clear a 50 foot obstacle is 361 meters at take off power.
AI has refused to accept jobs with anything less than 1080 meter runway. That is three times the length that is required. Is there a file that I can edit to change this figure? It must be written somewhere, correct?

No, you can't edit a file - it's coded that way in AH. There is nothing in an aircraft.cfg which indicates if an aircraft is STOL or not, so AH has to assume they're all not, otherwise they all would be, and an STOL A380 would be silly. Unfortunately, there are compromises which have to be made when interfacing with FS and add-on aircraft, and this is one of them. It only applies to AI pilots though - you can fly it into/out of anywhere you want.
