I wonder whether a RW pilot (or other expert) could help me with an ATS Even - Odd Clarification applying to flights in the UK. I am looking at Navigraph LIDO charts and I have studied the legend carefully but remain confused.

Using EU 02L-E as an example: looking at N864 (flying north over Wales) and N862 (flying south over Wales); I am trying to find out whether the bold arrow head adjacent to the Route ATS number is significant?

To put it simply, can I fly an ‘even’ flight level north and ‘odd’ flight level south on N864 and vica versa for N862 or is the bold arrow that I described telling me that N864 and N862 form a ‘one way system' (even north, odd south).

Thank you for reading this.

Best regards

I know I'm a bit late but its a one way system.

I am unable to select going against the arrows in my flight planner.

Thanks Flyer 10. I was slowly coming to the same conclusion after much further study of the Chart Legend.
