Hi Joe,

If you purchase the DVD version it will need no activation at all. If you purchase the download version you have the option of activating over the internet. Hope this is of help

I fly the CLS A340-500/600 and CLS DC-10 for a muckabout - they're excellent addons for such things, really worth the money.
On a serious, procedural flight front I use the PMDG 747 and PSS 777 mostly. I also got the Wilco E-jets recently, which is amazing everywhere except for the rather poor 2D panel.
May purchase the CLS 747 soon but the 747-200 Ready For Pushback is my current 747-200 simulation. And it is wonderful apart from being slightly outdated.

I'm not sure whether the boxed version does. The download version definitely does however Cry

Unsure - the aerosoft website says nothing about activation at all, and they're the publishers of the boxed version.

The system requirements don't mention an internet connection so I imagine you'd be fine:

If I were you I'd buy from play.com, it's £35 rather than €60 - saves around £15 Wink

Is the E-Jets addon good?  I rather like the look of it actually.  Have you found it to be buggy?  How realistic is it?
Kind regards,
Tom

The E-jets is very realistic. Not too buggy, can't get speedbrakes to deploy properly while airborne but no major flaws apart from that.
Buttons on AP section of the 2D panel are really hard to read though. Touch-screen panels are simulated very very well.
Livery pack is excellent too.
I once did Paris - Los Angeles, which is similar distance of Heathrow - San Francisco, perhaps a little disparity between the two.
Longest I've done has to be Heathrow to Auckland - 21 hour monster, in the PSS 777-200LR of course!

Why not buy the PSS 777 professional - the aircraft is designed for ultra-long-haul and doesn't need online activation if you buy the boxed version...
