Am I the only one that misses this - the button is there. My DM VC10 has the autoland. Any chance of this in the future? TriStar was the first a/c I was a passenger on that did it and it was a classic feature . . .

Hi Mike,
I was actually shocked that autoland doesn't function! It is pretty much an expected facility even on an F-Lite product. I can only assume it will be added, sooner rather than later I hope. Regards Mervyn |

Bad news it seems, I had a reply from support saying that AUTOLAND is not simulated in the Tristar. Disappointing.

with no 3d instruments, no passenger cabin, no A/L,, some other bits not working/simulated, it seems a mite expensive for what it is then . . .

- Autoland was a charasteristic feature of the original airplane. The first US-American civil airplane was equipped with and admitted by FAA.
- Further, this aircraft has no FMC, the original L-1011-500 has. - The performance of the airplane is a joke. The engines are extremely efficient and unrealistic. - The seat position of the pilot is wrong. This is tiresome - The turn pointer turns precisely in the wrong direction. - No Mach Hold. - The manual should be reworked and be complemeted Well is the flight model. The machine flies substantially and reacts like to expect. Sorry, but I am not amused about this aircraft. |
