I am having trouble getting the LNAV/VNAV to engage. I plug in my route into the FMC, the PFD shows the route with a full magenta line, no discontinuities, so I take off. As soon as I reach a comfortable altitude I try to turn on LNAV/VNAV and nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

Not sure.To fly set route usually need to:
Set GPS/NAV switch to GPS. LOC button to be activated. johnep |
