no one else had this problem?
I contacted both justflight and uk2000 tech support, but they are just as baffled, and no one seems to have an answer |

Things to check:
· Parking spot sizes in the AFCAD. For airliner jets, these should generally be
equal to or larger than 18 radius. If
the parking spots at this apron are set too small in the AFCAD (say they are
set as radius 16 or lower), and jets with large wingspans (let's say, greater
than 18) land at the airport, then they will obviously not park in those spots. · Parking spot types in the AFCAD. If the parking spot types at this apron are set as RAMP
parking spots, and not GATE parking spots, then any AI aircraft that is set to
park at a GATE parking spot cannot not park there. · Parking codes set in the AFCAD. If the spots at this apron are set for, say, QFA, VOZ, JST (Qantas, Virgin, Jetstar) but those airlines never land at this airport ... For Heathrow, you'll want parking codes like BAW, AFR, SIA etc (British Airways, Air France, Singapore Airlines) and so on ... · Taxiway links in the AFCAD. Make sure all the aprons have taxi links
going to them. A missing taxi link or
two will mean planes cannot possibly taxi to that apron. · Doubled up AFCADs ... ie, you may have TWO
AFCADS for this airport which are BOTH installed meaning that they are BOTH
being loaded by the sim at the same time. If that is the case, then wierd issues can
occur. Having said this, if it does actually turn out to be one (or more) of the above, then I would be amazed that neither Just Flight nor UK2000 Tech Support could provide you with those suggestions, or do the same checks themselves. |
