Jet Ways and "Close Up Views" in FSX

   OK I know I'm going to be laughed at about this but I really need to know.

After using FSX for several years two issues continue to confound me.

1.  How do you determine which gates at airports have jetways?  I'm using FSX Deluxe and for the life of me and have never been able to figure this out which makes it a bit of crap shoot when selecting which gates to depart from.

2.  At times when I start a flight and use the external view, the aircraft appears in an extreme close up view and when you move out further the view is really distorted.

OK, start laughing at this old FSX user who after three years of use, and buying all the F-Lite aircraft, is just now getting around to trying to solve these issues but it's a cold night here in Illinois and I need something to complain about so this is it.
