Hi Guys,

I got my xmas present a little early( a pc for FSX!!) and I tried to install FSX deluxe version on my computer on Windows 7, but I get this error saying the side by side configuration is incorrect, etc... so it wont install!:-( I can't think (literally) what could be causing this. I am not aware of windows system errors since I am a Mac users, but still I downloaded all of the 58 updates for windows and that did not work. Can anyone help me? Please? Thank you.

Looks like it's related to the lack of Microsoft visual C++ redistributable packages.

Odd - FSX will install them if they don't exist.

I can clean install FSX here on Win 7 without probs.

Be sure to run the installer as ADMIN under an ADMIN account!

Best regards,
Vulcan.
