I can now load the flight pal, but ATC won't pick up that it is an IFR plan and will only offer me a VFR clearance, although I can file an ifr plan after takeofff, I say old chap thats a triffle strange? |

This is the problem I have complained about before. Basically, when save a flight all Flight plans are lost from FMC. On reloading, have to re enter and then AP tries to take you back to the start. Have to fly the route manually and on VFR. I have not yet been able to complete the Tutorial flight to Zurich and have abandoned the JF A320 in favour of the Abacus Airbus collection. Unfortunately, this collection has a collective fault of not picking up the ILS, ie all landings have to be manual.
Is there a perfect faultless A320 out there somewhere? johnep |

If you want to fly ILS, load a flight plan as you would usually do, get clearance from ATC, then switch on the FMC, select 'Flight plans', select from the list and the click on 'Load Active'. This always works for me after initial problems before i\ worked it out. Everything just fine now.
