i would like to fly the connie on Ivao and need to set the transponder, but am i wrong or is there no such instrument in the connie?

Constellation doesn't have a transponder.
You should use the IVAP interface to set it.

I had the problem using Radar Contact, which requires a transponder. What is IVAP Interface?

It is the software for online flights over IVAO network.
