just a question, wouldn't it be better to get 6gb of ram? Think of new games that come out, it will last you a good year or two?

Or is this just rubbish i am saying?

I may have to get a new usb adaptor that is conpatible with W7. Would I have to get a netgear model?

No you won't need a Netgear adapter.
Kind regards,

[Natwest]There is another way[/Natwest]

I only use wireless for laptops as anything more than browsing and its not 100% reliable

Homeplugs - They turn your house power wiring into a network.

Plug one into your router with a short network lead and it then turns every power socket in your house into a network socket. You just buy as many adapters as required. I'm using 3 200Mbit ones for streaming media around my house and to keep ping down and download speed up on games.

They do up to Gigabit now, but 200Mbps is good enough for me. A pair start off at around £90 for 20Mbps and then you can buy singles or pairs to add on.

If you do any media sharing or copying of large files, I would highly recommend homeplugs. I have a spare for my laptop for copying large amounts of data
