To clear the virtual cockpit, first step:

Open the aircraft.cfg,

Under Views add the new [SMOKESYSTEM] in red :

[Views]
eyepoint = -0.9, -1.35, 2.95 //Longitudinal, Lateral, Vertical (feet)

[SMOKESYSTEM]
smoke.0 = -0.9, -1.35, 2.95, fx_vclighth //Add vc lights for day use

Look  the blue are the same in Views and smokesystem.
Then save.

When flying press "I" to active .

Second step :

Open the file "Texture" as the path :

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\JF_L049\Texture

Take the file :
JF_Con_Panels1_t

Change like this( in red):
JF_Con_Panels1_c

Save this new by overwriting the existing file.

Repeat for the others:
JF_Con_Panels2_L ==>
JF_Con_Panels2_c

and
JF_Con_Panels4_L ==>
JF_Con_Panels4_c

That's all...

Jean,

I tried it and your Panels2 and Panels4 texture edits made my center and right panel gauges hard to see.  I had backed up those texture files, so I just restored them, which corrected the problem.  Otherwise your steps above work fine.

Please note that I saw that a fix I may like better is in the 'Over-sell' thread.  There was a typo in the aircraft.cfg file causing the dark cockpit.  I'm going to change to that fix shortly.

Dave  :)
