Hi All,
I have a rather bizarre and extremely annoying problem with FSX. When flying around the UK airspace in quite normal straight and level flight for a time period of between 2 and 30 minutes, I suddenly get 'slewed' to an altitude of +1000000000 and with a coordinate position of 0 degrees, 0 degrees (right abovt the north pole theoretically). Now this does not happen in flight anywhere else in the world. My suspicion, which is based purely on a hunch, nothing technical, is that there must be some kind of process whereby when flying over terrain that my aircraft perhaps moves from one config / definition file to another within the FSX environment and it is this transition that is going wrong somewhere?
What have I done to investigate / resolve so far - I initially had FSX with traffic X installed. I then purchased and installed high definition scenery for Glasgow, Edinburgh, Heathrow airports. This all worked perfectly for in excess of 3 months. Then I installed Air Hauler and immediately the 'slewing problem' began over the UK only. I had all software operating with the latest releases and service packs. To resolve I have uninstalled every component and reinstalled just the FSX. The result of this is that it STILL misbehaves over the UK - usual problem flying along and all of a sudden whoomph I am in space over the north pole.
Any ideas of problem and resolution greatly received, and thanks in advance!
Stephen.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
The problem is universal - every aircraft behaves the same way.

Hi folks,
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like anyone else has had this problem or knows the solution to it.
Where do I go from here, because right now FSX is unuseable?
Cheers,
Stephen
