You'll need to edit the aircraft.cfg to reflect the real world numbers, most aircraft designers set the empty weight too high so with full tanks the plane flies like it's fully laden, which reduces the cargo capacity in AH.

1400 lb rather than 14,000 would seem more believable

if you click on specification at the top of your linked page and then scroll down to weights it says maximum payload 1140kg, fuel 683kg, don't know if fuel is included in first figure. reading through to me it appears the 14000lb or 6584kg is useful load, or 14514kg maximum landing weight of the aircraft......I may be reading it incorrectly though...

Newbie here, so kindly forgive me if this info is out there already or if I'm in the wrong thread for this question.  Just purchased AH and imported all my aircraft (which are mostly just default at the moment), and I'm confused about what info it needs to do its calculations correctly and how it's determining the numbers AH autofills.

For aircraft with a fixed gear system, how does AH determine the Vle?  It seems like it's entering in the "blowout-speed" value from [flaps.0] section of the aircraft's config file.  Regardless though, is it possible to even have a proper Vle speed for, let's say, the Cessna 172 SP (which AH assigned 150) since technically Vle is the speed you can safely extend the gear?

Related to that, is it safe to assume that the "damaging-speed" value in the config file is the Vfe (or something close to it)?

Lastly, is "Cruise Speed" in AH just supposed to be the plane's Vno (maximum structural cruising speed -- the lower limit of the yellow arc)?

I do understand that the actual real vspeeds are not necessarily reflected in the config files on FSX aircraft -- particularly the generic default ones -- but I'm just not sure how AH interprets this info and what numbers I should be putting in there for the most accuracy.  Thanks!

on fixed gear aircraft, the Vle speed should match the Vne, and the gear damage speed would be incorporated into the never exceed speed of the aircraft for its' type certificate... some devs may have overlooked that and not used anything but the default sdk value when the aircraft.cfg was created.  as such, you may have to manually change it in the aircraft.cfg file..
