Afternoon all,
I'm after a bit of advice, should I upgrade the power supply unit for my pc? I've been advised that overclocking and the GTX won't help the small wattage it has. Should I upgrade? |

I presume it's 650 at the moment as in your title? Have a look at the following PSU calculator. You may be surprised how little power you need, as long as it's a good make PSU that’s does what it's supposed to... many cheap ones don't. It includes the i7.
Just had a quick go based on guessing your kit and got 600 watt.

569W I got, seems ok to me! Maybe when I have a little more money I might sell and upgrade the PSU just to be on the safe side.

Good quality PSU's can give out their peak wattage consistantly. You could push the PSU at 620W and it shouldn't be a problem, if its high quality. (Corsair, OCZ, SilverStone etc).

If it's stable now, don't obsess. Just have fun with your PC.
