No it seems to be much more than that. It's like a big remote desktop thing, for various devices. Seems to tie in their Windows Home Server products in some ways (and making that a bit pointless if you're going to use the Live Mesh instead) as that allowed you to access files "on your home network" and share files between family members, although having said that anyone with a bit of noddle could have done that with a normal PC anyway.
