    Posted: 23 Apr 2008 at 11:06am
I'm using CP 1.3.1 with FSX on Vista.

It had been working just fine, but today after starting CPTracker and whilst loading FSX it crashed.

First FSX, then CPTracker (though it's possible CPTracker crashed first).

I got a message telling me to reinstall or repair FSX.

I rebooted my PC and gave it another try. This time I got my first ever, genuine BSOD on Vista. I've been using it since day 1 and all problems were sortable until this.

On restarting, Vista told me that there was a problem with a file and it had to be closed. The file was from CPTracker and now CP won't work at all, though FSX will.

Yeah, I did look on the support page before I posted here - but didn't see anything appropriate to this problem - I'll go look again.

Deary me Clap Now, what I can be your punishment for this act of incompetence? 50 press ups?

We will try and respond as soon as possible to your support e-mail. Unfortunately we are currently two men down at JF towers, so it might take a bit longer than normal

On the off-chance that this was just an unlucky fluke, I have reinstalled CP - and so far all is going ok.

Except the flippin' pounds to kilos conversion... Censored

Heh - 3rd post in a row! .

I reckon this problem was a result of starting FSX whilst CPTracker was still initialising. i.e. starting FSX too soon after starting CPTracker.

Just a theory...
