I would be suing them for not providing a suitably sized receptacle!

I agree with RAS! First, these bins are not bigger than the 5 or 6 bags that some people ended up with at the end of a typical week. Second, garbage collection is now every 2 weeks, so what do they expect???

I hope he takes them to the European Court and wins!

Fly tipping is going to rocket if this continues.

Best regards,
Vulcan.

If they outlawed unsolicited junk mail and the 8 layers of cardboard & plastic between us and our Fish Fingers and Wagon Wheels then we would stand half a chance of being able to squeeze it all into the provided bin every fortnight!

Totally! Despite all the years of trying to reduce waste, I think we use more packaging now than ever.

Vulcan.

I think Copeland Borough Council are trying to make money. They should come to Solihull and see the size of our council tax bill. Despite the virtually non existent government grant we get compared with other authorities our council have pledged NOT to introduce fortnightly collections.

Copeland Borough Council  have made idiots of themselves.

I would never throw my beloved Aqua Marina in the bin.

I could show you another picture, a vision of beauty for sure.
