I am trying to install a newly purchased copy of FlyingClubX for FS9 (2004) the following message keeps reappearing: The following error occurred on the file 'D:/program files/Microsoft games/flight simulator 9/jfil65cb.rra Access is denied If I choose to ignore the message then it tells me that: 'D:/program files/Microsoft games/flight simulator 9/just flight Access denied. I have looked at the D drive to determine if it is write protected, its not and I am the administrator for the computer so it should allow me to install this program. Any ideas? |

Please contact Support via http://www.justflight.com/support.asp
Could be a few problems, either something wrong with the permissions on your Flight Simulator folder or with your Flying Club X disc being damaged, but the support team will be able to assist you further.

Yes, it does or at least it should as it gives you the option when you install it. Having said that I don't think it’s down to the FlyingClubX disc. I tried to install a game the other day and it will only let me install onto my C drive not my D drive where all my programs are, including FS9. I've been through various protection settings and I just can't see where it’s going wrong. As far as I can see the D drive program folder is not protected nor is the FS9 folder. I'll keep tiring until I get it or someone comes up with a slick answer. Cheers, |
