Dear developers,

Any possibility in a future update to correct the steering sensitivity which is way too high on the ground? That s totally unrealistic. I like all other aspect of the plane but the steering on the ground is awful!
Cheers

Hi Stephane,

Thanks for the feedback.  The steering uses a realistic deflection, true to the real plane.  However, you might need to adjust X-Plane's controls to get the right "feel".  X-Plane tends to be overly sensitive by default.

In X-Plane's joystick window, click on the "Control Sensitivity" button at the bottom.  Check for two things:
1. Make sure the "Stability Augmentation" sliders are all at 0%.
2. You might adjust the "Control Response" sliders up a bit.  I like 50%, which makes the controls smoother near the center, but you can adjust it to your liking.

The ADF in the X-Plane Turbo Arrow III/IV has a similar bug to that in the PA-28-161 Warrior II mentioned in the PA-28-161 Warrior II Bugs thread. The pointer on the instrument only moves if the switch on the receiver is set to either ANT or BFO. Setting it to ADF as instructed on page 61 of the tutorial flight in the manual has no effect.

That is a normal limitation of X-Plane, unfortunately.  With the selector in "ANT" mode the ADF needle will function, but there will be no morse ID.  With the selector in "BFO" mode you'll get both (as long as the ADF is selected on the audio panel, of course).

Thanks for the info. It's easy to work around that limitation, as long as you know about it! Why not update the manual to reflect the way it works in X-Plane11?
