Just got the Meteor. What a great jet to fly. Lots of power and it really responds well.
That said, it seems to be a bit "twitchy"…definitely not an aircraft that you look away from for even a few seconds. I am assuming that as the first Brit jet fighter it wan't all that stable of a platform…that those engines produced "healthy torque" that translated itself into a tendency to roll and yaw…if so the flight model has been well simulated. As I am not used to it yet (only one landing…the other flights ended in a less desirable manner) I seem to be over compensating…i.e. I correct the tendency to roll left and find my self about to go into a spin to the right. The elevator trim works well (programmed to joystick switches)…not having as much luck with rudder trim or aileron trim. Any suggestions (aside from put it in auto pilot).
