I`ve tried Just Flight C152. It`s really great but I don't know why it turns left with aileron and ruder position neutral with power and power to idle so it is not propeller torque.

I have the same issue. I would be very interested on why this happens and if its a bug.

Can you confirm which simulator you are using?

Same issue here too, also P3Dv4.2
Can't fly hands off for more than a couple of seconds. The sim's built-in A/P will hold it level, but hand flying needs constant right aileron. |

I have a sort of explanation / answer, but it will have to wait a couple of hours until I get back to the house because I can't tap up a response of any length on this tiny phone keyboard!

I noticed the same issue. I think it's due to the left seat pilot's seating position in the [WEIGHT_AND_BALANCE] section of the aircraft.cfg. It's offset slightly to the left of centerline to correctly mimic the left pilot's seat viewpoint. This does cause a slight yaw and/or roll to left since FS is slightly oversensitive to offset weights from the centerline. I notice this same issue in other light aircraft in FS.
To correct - either manually adjust the aircraft.cfg to remove to offset permanently or simply put an evenly distributed weight in the P1 and P2 positions within FSX/P3D's fuel & payload menu. By default the plane shows 170lbs in the P1 position...so just put 85lbs in the P1 and P1 positions...or any other even amounts...and all should be well. At least it is on my system! Good luck. |

Sounds good, I have to fly my FSX Katana with a sack of spuds in the co-pilots seat. I'll give it a go, thanks

Same here! Just one of the many little compromises away from reality we must make within flight sim... Take care. |

That works. Not a perfect balance, but a little fine tuning should get it.
I used to fly gliders in RL and I have flown a Slingsby T21 with a sack of potatoes in the right seat, so it is realistic, in my experience. |

SOLVED! that was a matter of WEIGHT_AND_BALANCE not the fuel but passenger. You have to adjust in fuel and payload weight for a passenger on the right site and that`s it. Congratulations to realistic flight model.

+1 on this pull to the left.
Is it a bug? Is it that the pilot is offset a touch more to the left of the left seat? Is it that there is a left seat weight of 180, but no right seat weight? The plane pulls very hard, it was a bit more balanced evening out the 2 seats, but still had a tendency to "dip" in either direction as if there were weights on he wings.

Currently by default there is no right seat passenger/pilot so as you'd expect there is a slight inbalance. We'll look into how that inbalance affects the behaviour of the flight dynamics but as the others have stated, the quick solution is to add the right seat passenger/pilot using the fuel and payload menu.

No, the two seating positions are central to the seats. However, I wouldn't be surprised if (ref your other thread 'Light as a Feather) the weight factor as set up originally in the sim also has too much effect with realistic damping levels and the answer MAY be to move the reference position inwards towards the centre of the aircraft.

The aircraft isn't fitted with an autopilot unit so you'd need to use the control assignments (Z, Ctrl+Z, Ctrl+H etc).

I agree. As there is no passenger option, and if we assume the physics are decent, it will yaw and roll to the left for a number of reasons. Therefore constant aileron and rudder trim is necessary. If you do not like it, changing p factor, yaw factors in the sim settings or the cfg file is probably possible. Does the plane in the RW have an aileron trim.... ? Doubtful or it would be modelled. These planes are very hands on. I have a fake aileron trim set through fsuipc to an axis on my joystick. |

I really want to love this plane but it is almost un-flyable for me. I've read this forum and here is how I did troubleshooting:
-Pilot and passenger weight are set exactly the same -Full tanks set to same amount -Turned off all wind, weather, etc. -In "realism" I set all sliders (P factor, etc.) to easy. Still, the plane turns left, right and is very unstable.

Hi Jason, Please contact the support team as it certainly shouldn't be unflyable, even if you don't have a pilot/passenger in the right seat causing some imbalance - http://support.justflight.com/support/tickets/new Thanks Martyn
