I get a "Tornado CFG file missing. Please reinstall or contact support." message when loading the Tonka (v4.1) in FSXSE.
Does this refer to the JF_TornadoGR1.cfg in the "panel" folder? What module calls the .cfg file and where is the path information stored? In all fairness, I did not directly install the aircraft to the main FSX(SE) folder, but into a temporary folder on another drive to check out the package content before actual installation. - Edit: Dug through the registry and played with the paths in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Just Flight\Just Flight - Tornado GR1 for FSX Steam Edition for FSX Steam Edition\1.42.0000" since I though this would point the dll file to the .cfg, but to no avail. Turns out the Tornado has to be installed to "FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes", regardless of registry settings. Mildly unfortunate. |

An update will be available within the next day or two which, in addition to adding P3D v4 compatibility, will move the cfg file that you are referring to from inside the simulator folder to AppData, so you can then move the Tornado aircraft folder wherever you like.
Thanks Martyn

Wow, that sounds great! When did you guys start to read minds?
P.S: Any chance for further Tonka variants some day? Thinking of the GR.4, ECR and F.3. |

Thanks for the update. I can finally install the Tonka outside of SimObjects\Airplanes.
