I'm currently using P3D v3.4 and have recently opened the Contents Error Log text file and found this entered in the log after a successful flight in the Corsair.
[error.0] error=Gauge/Script Error Type: Animation Script Name: JF_CorsairMk1 Error: Invalid script (command not found - perhaps a space is missing or there's an extra space?): "/}" in: /} els{ 0 } [error.1] error=The cab file header's file count does not match the folder count. For better performance, please have a folder per file to support random access. This could happen if the Prepar3D SDK cabdir tool is not used. The aircraft flies fine and all gauges are working, just wondering why this appears in the Error Log. Regards Nigel |

Hi Nigel,
Quite a few of these are just a result of files that the developer used during the creation of the model that were not actually required in the finished product. You can ignore these 'errors' as they don't cause any actual issues. Thanks Martyn

Thanks Martyn, is it safe to delete these from the gauge.xml or best to leave alone?

TBH it's not something that I've attempted, but if you make a copy of the file before deleting the entries then worst case you can simply restore that copy.
Thanks Martyn

By far the best thing you can do is turn OFF the content error logging in the sim.
It should be off by default.
L-M forgot. |

Yes, I agree, I have turned off Contents Error Log and am back to normal.
Is there a way to get the drop tank to transfer fuel or is it for cosmetic attachment only? I can't see the point of carrying a drop tank when its un-usable! |
