Hi Gents,
Can any one recommend a PC around £600 so I can run FSX without any problems. At present I have the boxed versions installed, witch I can't access due to my old PC has given up.I will probably install the steam version on the new PC. Thanks. JIm. |

Hi Jim
In case you haven't decided on a new m/c yet, nip along to www.snipca.com/22926 and check out this "Computeractive Magazine" best buy from CCL. There's a 3 year collect and return warranty on it. It's also customizable. The price is £532.99 without an o/s or £621.99 with win10....BUT, personally, I wouldn't touch win10 with a bargepole, not if you want hassle free installations....much better to use win 7. There's still another 4 years before Microsoft pull the plug on updates for win 7, trouble free years. The review in Computeractive is in the current Issue 493, page 23. Hope this helps John Cross (SierraGolf) |

Thanks John I will check it out.At present I am not sure about Windows 7 or 10,I have managed to get my present PC running again but it is still acting up.I have reinstalled the boxed version of FSX and Expansion pack but when I try to install my Downloaded purchases I get a message saying no account found.I will be contacting support on this matter.

Hi John,
Are you able to build this yourself? It would be considerably cheaper to build it yourself :) If not, send a PM to MartinW as he is an excellent computer engineer. I'd offer to build one for you also but I'm unable to atm. ps: Should be in Hardware section.
