I will start by saying the Hawk is a fine job and I had several good flights prior to my problem.
Previously I was able to start with using the photo and guide to be found within this forum but now I must have lost the plot!!
I go through the start-up procedure and reach the point where I have 20% rpm and both the Rotation and GTS lights are at green. I move the throttle to the Idle position using the mouse wheel and wait for the 15 seconds for the spool-up and wait for the lights to turn off.
At this point nothing happens, no spool up and the lights stay on.
I have tried several times including 'Cold & Dark', the hidden Engine Start option in the Panel Selector as well as the FSX auto start all with no success.
Any suggestions as I can no longer fly the Hawk which is very frustrating as I could originally?

Fixed Big smile

I tried the suggested trick of starting with the default C172, selecting both batteries to ON and Magnetoes set at BOTH.
I then switched back to the Hawk and went through the normal start up sequence.
It worked - brilliant.
Just hope JF is not too long in fixing this along with the other problems that have been discovered as this is a great product which will be even better when sorted.
For now, one happier simmer!

As an alternative, go into your control settings and assign an command to batt on/off.
I use ctrl+Shif+B.
I get the aircraft ready then in the main config panel (shift +2) I select the lightning bolt.
I then press ctr+shft+B to bring everything online.
Then when ready just start using ctrl+E and it works every time.
i have used this in the bast for other aircraft where the batt operation is not immediately obvious.
