What happened to the service pack? I know we got a interim service pack for dc-8 50-70 were supposed to get a decent service pack by now you would think. I still have not purchased anything from just flight due to lack of fixes for this plane and will not until this is fixed. love the plane hate the bugs and lack of support.

The developers are currently working on the service packs for both DC-8 products so you'll see more news shortly.

Totally agree with your disappointment with Just Flights DC 8. I have commented numerous times on the forum w r t the substandard development of the DC 8 which should not have been launched. Like the Viscount, Tristar, and some other Just Flight products you cannot fly it realistically because the developers do not have real flying experience. The clients unfortunately are at the wrong end. |

If we could at least have as a hotfix for the DC-8 50 to 60 (70 is ok because it is electronic) only the fix for the HSI that causes the severe loss of fps while banking or turning the plane, maybe the developers could release that gauge fix while working in the full patch.

W r t your response: In the mean time the client must be satisfied with a substandard product by Just Flight who they all have paid for. I presume the reason for being busy with many projects are "patch" related i t o your products. Sundowner

I don't buy the "small team juggling many projects" argument. Just Flight have released around 10 products since the DC-8 came out, and yet this particular aircraft is still buggy and completely unusable. The paying customers have been promised a service pack for a while now.
I would have gotten a refund long ago, but the FAQ states that 1. refunds are only valid for 7 days and 2. downloadable products are not refundable. I bought the DC-8 over a year ago and have flown it ONCE because of the fact that it's unusable in its current state.

Hi Cameron. As long as you purchased the product from us then the customer service team should be able to provide you with a refund for the DC-8.
As stated above, the service pack is coming but I'm not able to provide a date for its release. I'll update you on its progress ASAP.
